FRANKLIN — The Franklin Cultural District has been named one of the Mass Cultural Council’s 58 Cultural Districts to receive 2026 Investment Grants toward street and music festivals, art installations, holiday strolls, and other community-focused initiatives.

Use of the $15,000 grant is flexible, allowing Franklin to decide how best to invest the funding, whether for marketing and promotion, artist and vendor fees, or planning efforts.

The Cultural Council specifically highlighted the Franklin Cultural District’s family-friendly festivals, classes, concerts, and other programming as part of the reason for the award.

Town officials say the funding will help continue to grow arts and cultural opportunities that bring residents together and strengthen Franklin’s downtown and community spaces.
