Franklin has been awarded $293,000 in grants from the Massachusetts Clean Water Trust. It’s part of more than $168 million in grants and loans statewide in collaboration with the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection to help communities build or replace water infrastructure that enhances ground and surface water resources and ensures the safety of drinking water. Franklin’s grants will go toward planning for replacing lead services lines.
