SOUTHBOROUGH – Four people have been taken into custody after Southborough Police uncovered cocaine and fentanyl being used inside a Turnpike Road hotel room. Officers went to the hotel Tuesday as part of an ongoing investigation into a woman staying there who was suspected of fraud and shoplifting.
Inside the room, police found her with several other individuals along with cocaine and fentanyl, leading to her arrest. Two others — a woman and a man — were wanted on active warrants out of Worcester District Court and were taken into custody. A fourth man was also arrested and charged with drug possession.
Police have not released the names of those involved as the investigation continues.
