Foul play is not suspected in a fatal incident that stopped the Franklin Line of the MBTA Commuter Train early Wednesday morning. An MBTA Police spokesman said in a statement that at this time it appears that around 430am a Norwood man purposely jumped onto the tracks as the train was approaching Norwood and was hit and killed. There were no passengers on board at the time and no one else was hurt. Transit Police and the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office are investigating the incident.
