MILFORD – More potential legal trouble may be ahead for a former Milford Youth Football and Cheer treasurer.

In 2024, Greg Pearl was convicted of larceny for embezzling $285,000 from the organization and was sentenced to two years in prison, suspended while he paid restitution in installments.

According to the Daily News, Pearl is now accused of missing three monthly restitution payments as well as a large lump-sum payment that was due last month.

Pearl appeared for a preliminary probation violation hearing last week, but the matter was continued to next month.

If he is ultimately found in violation of probation, the suspended prison sentence could be imposed, and Pearl could be ordered to begin serving time.
