By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – One former Milford police chief’s lawsuit against the town is over but another one is still in the works. Last week the dismissal was finalized in a suit brought by Thomas O’Loughlin, who is currently on the Select Board, in connection with the manner in which his contract was not renewed in 2018. Patch reports it was dismissed “with prejudice,” so it’s totally done. Meanwhile former chief Michael Pighetti is suing Milford over his firing in 2021 over an alleged improper traffic stop. That suit is still in the legal discovery phase.
