FRANKLIN — A former caregiver at a Franklin group home has been indicted after a special needs child suffered a broken arm.
According to The Boston Globe, Saturs Allison of Pawtucket has been charged with assault and battery on a disabled person for an incident that occurred in October. Allison has pleaded not guilty.
Surveillance video reportedly shows Allison attempting to stop the child from hitting his own head against a wall by grabbing the child’s arm and neck and pushing him face-first to the ground, causing the child’s arm to snap.
