Foley and Jefferson Elected to Grafton Select Board in Low-Turnout Vote

Grafton voters have chosen Ann Marie Foley and Andrew Jefferson for the Select Board. The Town Clerk’s unofficial results from Tuesday’s Town Election show Foley, the current chair of the Select Board, got 917 votes and Jefferson got 852 votes. The third candidate Colleen Roy had 815 votes. There were two write-in candidates for an open Planning Board seat with Michael Palermo getting 89 votes over Raymond Mead with 68. In all there were 1598 votes cast, representing about 11% of Grafton’s registered voters.
