MILLIS – A brand-new community tradition is getting ready to make its debut as Millis prepares to host its First Annual Millis Community Day on Thursday, August 20th.
The celebration will be held at the Town Field from 4 PM to 8 PM and is designed to bring neighbors together while highlighting the people, organizations and traditions that make up the Millis community. The event will feature local vendors and community organizations along with live music and plenty of food, including a chili contest.
Families will also find a variety of activities, including a kids zone, face painting and a police K9 appearance. The inaugural celebration is being organized by the all-volunteer Millis Community Day Planning Committee.
