MILFORD — A man posing as an inspector at the Dunkin’ on South Main Street has been arrested for allegedly stealing cash from the store. Milford Police say that on December 19, an employee contacted authorities after discovering more than $600 missing from the store’s safe.

According to police, about an hour before the theft was discovered, a man claiming to be an inspection officer entered the business and was able to access the safe. Investigators reviewed store surveillance footage and used the FLOCK camera system, which led them to identify Jamal Guinyard as the suspect.

Police located Guinyard and took him into custody. He has been charged with larceny under false pretenses.
