Excessive Heat Warning Issued: Cooling Shelters Open in Milford Amid High 90s Temperatures

By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – The National Weather Service has us under an excessive heat warning for the next several days with temperatures in the high 90’s and heat indexes over 100. Several Towns have set up cooling shelters if you need a place to escape the heat. In Milford you can go to the Senior Center today and Thursday from 8am to 4:30 and the Library today and Thursday 9am-9pm. They are both closed Wednesday due to the Juneteenth Holiday but you can go to the Police Department Lobby or Fire Station 2.
