Eversource has apparently had a possible data breach. On Monday Eversource emailed customers warning about what they call a software vulnerability with their vendor CLEAResult. They say information like names, addresses and energy usage may have been part of the exposure but not social security numbers. They recommend you monitor your utility accounts for unusual activity. Meanwhile they are investigating how the exposure happened so they can keep it from happening again.
