FRANKLIN – Watch for more evening traffic impacts in Franklin as crews continue work on the major upgrade to the 110-year-old Beaver Street Interceptor, a three-year infrastructure project now nearing the end of its second year.

Contractors are currently installing a sewer force main along West Central Street, with work taking place from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Drivers should expect evening lane closures, delays, and occasional brief detours while the overnight construction is underway.

Meanwhile, at the Franklin Recreation Center, crews are moving forward with construction of the new Beaver Street Interceptor Pump Station, an important component of the town’s wastewater system modernization.
