Elderly Man Suffers Major Injuries After Being Struck by Car in Milford

By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – An elderly man has major injuries after being hit by a car while crossing Route 140 last night. Milford Police say it happened around 630pm on West St near Asylum St. The victim had to be flown to UMASS Memorial Medical Center with head trauma and other injuries although officials say he was alert and able to talk to first responders. Police say he was not in a crosswalk when he was hit by the car and the driver stopped and tried to help him until paramedics arrived. There is no indication of any charges for the driver.
