Early Voting Available for Franklin’s Special Election on Tax Override

By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Early Voting is now open for Franklin’s Special Election on a tax override. The Town is asking for an additional $6.8 million in real estate and personal property taxes for the operating budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1. It is the only question on the ballot. The Town Clerk says Early Voting will run through June 7 in the Town Clerk’s Office during normal business hours ahead of the Special Election which is June 11 at Franklin High School. There is one weekend Early Voting day which is Saturday, June 1.
