MILFORD – No one was hurt following an early morning New Year’s Day house fire in Milford. The fire broke out around 2:30 a.m. Thursday at a home on Depot Street.
The residents were able to safely get out of the house on their own before firefighters arrived. The Milford Fire Department says the initial investigation suggests a dumpster or trash pile next to the home caught fire and spread to the house, though officials are still working to determine what caused the trash fire.
