Kevin Maley, a Medway High School senior working towards Eagle Scout, led a impactful project benefiting the Medway Community Farm. Collaborating with farm leaders, he identified the need for two shelters—a storage unit and a wash station. Kevin secured approvals, fundraised online, and oversaw the project’s execution.
Despite alterations and increased costs, Kevin’s parents generously covered remaining expenses. The completed 38′ x 16′ shelter serves vital roles, offering a space for washing produce and multipurpose storage. The project’s positive impact extends to patrons, farmers’ markets, students, and the Medway Village Food Pantry.
Kevin’s dedication exemplifies the Scout spirit as he works towards earning the rank of Eagle Scout.
