WESTBOROUGH – A Connecticut-based developer is proposing two five-story apartment buildings along Route 9 that would add more than 380 new units to Westborough’s housing market.
The project, located on Milk Street at Turnpike Road, would feature two buildings on either side of Turnpike Road and be built in phases so occupancy would be staggered over time.
According to the Community Advocate, information shared with the Planning Board indicates the developer plans to work with the Westborough Affordable Housing Trust to ensure that 15 percent of the units qualify as affordable housing.
