By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Details have been announced for the Welcome Home celebration for Franklin’s Olympian Kristi Kirshe, who was on the Bronze Medal-winning USA Women’s Rugby Team. It’s next Tuesday, August 20 at 6pm at the Franklin Town Common. It will feature a police escort, citations for Kristi from State Representative Jeff Roy and the Franklin Town Council, and a question-and-answer session hosted by MyFM’s very own Ray Auger. If you can’t make it down, Franklin TV will broadcast it on their YouTube Channel.
