By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Dean College has unveiled upgrades and new technical gear for their Center for Science and Technology. They say thanks to grants from the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center and the George I. Alden Trust, they have a new UV visible spectrophotometer and nine additional CCD array spectrophotometers, new virtual reality goggles and software for anatomy and physiology, new data collection platform with sensors for EKG, blood pressure and heart rate, and some other high-tech gear. But they were also able to upgrade their space with new cabinets, sinks, countertops and chemical fume hoods.
