HOPKINTON – A dangerousness hearing is scheduled for Monday for a man accused of a series of serious crimes involving a stolen vehicle. Police say Christopher Saunders allegedly stole a car, cut off a home confinement ankle monitor, and tried to ram a Hopkinton police cruiser with an officer inside during an incident Tuesday night.
Authorities say the situation began when officers spotted a vehicle reported stolen out of Southborough, leading to a pursuit. Saunders now faces 14 charges, including assault with a dangerous weapon, malicious destruction of property, and drug trafficking, and is being held without bail pending Monday’s hearing.
