A court date has been set in the case of a current Milford Select Board member against a former one. Thomas O’Loughlin is reportedly suing William Buckley for defamation in connection with how O’Loughlin’s contract as Police Chief ended with the Town in 2018. The Daily News reports other elements originally presented in the lawsuit, that involved another former Select Board member and the Town, have since been dismissed, but many town officials past and present will likely be called to testify. The trial is set for May 10, 2024.
