Convicted Killer Of Holliston Police Officer Paroled After 42 Years

A man convicted of killing a Holliston police officer 42 years ago has been paroled. Rolando Jimenez had outstanding warrants when he shot and killed Officer John Johnson in August 1981 after Johnson stopped him in a stolen car. Jimenez was convicted of second-degree murder and sentenced to life with the possibility of parole. Holliston Town News reports after six requests, Jimenez was granted parole July 31. Officer Johnson was 31 years old when he died. He was a US Air Force veteran and had been with the Holliston Police Department for six years.
