FRANKLIN – Work is beginning on the long-planned Franklin Ridge Senior Housing project. Town officials say that after 11 years of groundwork, the affordable senior housing development has secured all necessary funding and construction is set to start soon, with an anticipated opening in late 2027.
Franklin Ridge will be a three-story, 60-unit affordable housing complex for Franklin residents age 62 and older. The development will feature mostly one-bedroom apartments along with a limited number of two-bedroom units, as well as shared community space, a library, and offices for on-site management and social services.
