By MyFM’s Claire BeverlyThe Children’s Museum of Franklin has gotten a major donation from Rockland Trust for an exhibit aimed at teaching kids financial literacy. The Franklin Observer reports the $45,000 donation is for an exhibit called “Ms. Money’s Playroom” which is inspired by Rockland Trust’s online tool called Ms. Money’s Classroom. It’s for elementary school-aged students and their families and teachers to learn essential money concepts: making, saving, sharing, and spending. Ms. Money’s Playroom is among 14 other exhibits that will be ready when the museum opens in early 2025.
