Grafton Fire officials say a fire that broke out Wednesday along Willard Street and Jumbo Path was started by sparks from a chain saw. Firefighters were called to the area to investigate some smoke and found a tree that had caught on fire. They say the crew from Station 2 Engine 10 got it out right away and no further resources were needed. They remind you with the dry weather that a brush fire can ignite quickly. In addition to care during chain sawing, also refrain using any outside burn pits.
