Holliston’s Fire Chief says a Monday afternoon explosion at a home on Westfield Drive happened while the homeowner and an electrician were troubleshooting some oil burning equipment which was not working properly after an electrical storm last Friday. Chief Michael Cassidy says both suffered serious burns and were flown to trauma centers in Boston. At the request of town officials, Eversource Energy has been checking with several neighbors who had also reported electrical issues since the Friday storm.
