MILFORD – A vehicle slammed into Hickey’s Wine and Spirits on East Main Street early Thursday morning, leaving significant damage to the building. Milford Police say the crash happened around 5:30 a.m., when the driver lost control and struck the storefront.
Firefighters had to extricate the driver from the vehicle, and the individual was taken for medical treatment. Officials have not released information on the driver’s condition, and investigators are still working to determine what caused the crash. No injuries were reported inside the store, though Hickey’s social media pages show a large hole left in the building.
