Car and MBTA Train Collide in Franklin, No Injuries Reported

Franklin Police say no one was hurt when a MBTA Commuter Rail train and a car collided Thursday. It happened in the late afternoon on Grove Street. Police had to close the road for an extended period of time because they couldn’t move the train until they finished their investigation. The train was moved by 5pm. They did not say what led to the accident or whether anyone would be cited. Meanwhile across the region police responded to hundreds of car accidents on Thursday.
