MILLIS — Millis Police are investigating a serious crash involving a car and a cement truck that occurred Thursday afternoon on Main Street.
Emergency responders from Millis, Norfolk, Sherborn, and Medfield were called to the intersection of Main Street and Village Street, where the cement truck was found on its side following the collision. Police say the driver of the car suffered serious injuries and was transported by medical helicopter to Boston Medical Center. The driver of the cement truck was not injured.
The crash forced the closure of Main Street for several hours as crews worked to upright and remove the overturned cement truck. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
