By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – The state’s Cannabis Control Commission is reportedly courting Holliston Town Administrator Travis Ahern to take over as Executive Director. Ahern was a runner-up for the job when they looked to fill it in October but now the person they have chosen has apparently turned it down. The Daily News reports the Commission voted Wednesday to enter into negotiations with Ahern. The Commission, which oversees the state’s $7 billion cannabis industry, has been without a permanent leader for nearly a year.
