By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – The Town of Blackstone’s Veterans Day Ceremony will be held this Sunday November 10 from 9am to Noon at Divine Mercy Parish. A complimentary hot breakfast for veterans will begin at 9am, and then at 9:30am the Reverend John Larochelle will give a blessing followed by words of appreciation from State Representative Mike Soter. Divine Mercy Religious Education students will perform patriotic music. And to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War, a pinning ceremony will recognize veterans who served between November 1, 1955, and May 31, 1975. The event is free and open to all.
