BLACKSTONE VALLEY — Blackstone Valley Education Foundation co-founder Gerald “Lee” Gaudette III is stepping down from the organization’s Board of Directors after more than 25 years of service.
The Foundation announced the transition this week and said it is honoring Gaudette’s long-standing commitment by establishing the Lee Gaudette Blackstone Valley Vision Fund. The new fund will support the Foundation’s core mission and key initiatives, including the Blackstone Valley Youth Leadership Academy, Arts in the Valley, Career and Hiring Fairs, STEM Unfiltered, Grants to Teachers across member districts, and the ExGen teacher externship program.
Foundation leaders say the fund is intended to carry forward Gaudette’s vision and impact on education and workforce development throughout the Blackstone Valley.
