By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Two Blackstone Police officers are being commended for their response to an incident involving a person trapped in a burning vehicle. Police Chief Gregory Gilmore has presented letters of commendation in front of the Board of Selectmen for officers Greggory Haynes and Taylor Hanson. Gilmore says on October 20 while responding to a critical incident they came upon a car engulfed in flames and without hesitation, and at great personal risk to themselves, got the person out of the car.
