The driver of a semi that crashed into a house in Bellingham Thursday morning may have suffered a medical emergency that caused him to lose control. Police say the tractor trailer was heading eastbound on Hartford Avenue at about 9:30 a.m. when it crashed into the house at the corner of Hartford and Nason. The driver is in critical condition. No one was home so there were no injuries from inside the house. Officials say the house, which dates to 1870, is so damaged it will have to be torn down.
