Prices are going down for Bellingham’s electricity aggregation program called Bellingham Power Choice. Officials say it is effective in December, when the current electricity supply contract with NextEra Energy Services ends and a new, 24-month contract with Direct Energy Services starts. The new price for Power Choice Standard is 13.95 cents/kWh. Power Choice Green is 16.77 cents/kWh and includes 100% renewable electricity from new renewable energy projects in our region.
