BELLINGHAM — Police say there is no threat to Bellingham High School following a threatening social media post made over the weekend.
Investigators say they quickly determined the post originated from a teenager in Bellingham. Detectives responded to the teen’s home, spoke with the family, and concluded there is no danger to the school or the public.
Police are working with the school district and the family to address the situation. It is unclear whether any charges will be filed. Out of caution, there is an increased law enforcement presence at the high school today.
