We’re learning more about an assault suspect captured in Milford Sunday after escaping police custody while hospitalized following his violent arrest Saturday night in Marlborough. Marlborough’s Police Chief says Isaac Rivera was handcuffed and under guard at all times except when he went for x-rays which is when he slipped out an unguarded door. Milford Police found him Saturday afternoon hiding in his girlfriend’s home. He is facing 23 charges and is being held without bail until a hearing Friday.
