By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Ashland Police Chief Cara Rossi has been put on paid administrative leave. The Ashland Town Manager reportedly made the announcement to town staff last week but did not specify the reason. He would only tell the Daily News “It’s important people not read into it” and the Chairman of the Select Board would also not comment. Deputy Police Chief Michael Vinciulla is in charge while Rossi is out. Rossi, an Ashland native, has been in the job since June 2022 following a 28-year-career with the Natick Police Department.
