By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Ashland Police Chief Cara Rossi will not be sanctioned by the Peace Officers Standards and Training Commission following a series of hearings stemming from her time as a lieutenant in Natick. The Daily News reports complaints had been lodged about her handling of a sexual assault investigation but the POST Commission concluded there was no convincing evidence that Rossi had engaged in unprofessional conduct. There is reportedly still a lawsuit against the Natick Police Department in connection.
