FRANKLIN – If you’re looking for something spooky yet educational this Halloween week, the annual Franklin Cemetery Tour returns Thursday evening.
Local historian Dr. R.A. Lawson will once again lead the event, sharing stories that blend gravestone symbolism with both local and New England history — including tales of tragic deaths, lost love, murder, and even treason.
The tour begins at 5 p.m. Thursday at the Franklin Cemetery. The event is free and open to all, though donations to the Franklin Historical Commission are encouraged and gratuities are accepted.
