WORCESTER — Yoga is returning to Polar Park later this month, with the Worcester Red Sox hosting another Yoga at Polar Park event on Saturday, Aug. 29.
The morning begins with doors opening at 6:30 a.m., followed by a 45-minute yoga flow at 7 a.m. Breakfast will be served at 8 a.m. for guests who purchase the breakfast ticket option. The event will take place rain or shine, and participants are encouraged to bring their own light-colored yoga mat.
The session will be led by Brittany, a special education teacher and fitness instructor who holds a Yoga Sculpt certification and has completed both 200-hour and 300-hour yoga teacher training. She is now a RYT-500 and also holds a Master of Science in Education in Transformative Teaching and Learning with a specialization in social-emotional learning, mindfulness and yoga.
Two ticket options are available. Yoga admission only is $18 and includes entry to the event along with a WooSox cooling athletic towel. The towel will be available to the first 250 participants who register.
A Yoga Admission and Breakfast package is $40 and includes the yoga session, breakfast buffet, one mimosa or non-alcoholic beverage and the WooSox cooling athletic towel. The breakfast option is available for purchase through Aug. 21.
The breakfast buffet will include fresh fruit, a yogurt bar with berries and granola, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and hash browns.
Organizers say the event is open both to experienced yoga participants and those attending their first class, offering a unique opportunity to begin the weekend with a morning workout inside one of Central Massachusetts’ most recognizable sports venues.
