The Worcester Bravehearts extended their hot stretch to three straight wins with a dominant 6-0 outing against the Starfires last night before weather cut the game short. This victory avenged an earlier close-season loss to the same opponent and helped the Bravehearts maintain their league-best 25-10 record in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League of New England.
Worcester’s balanced approach has been a season-long strength, but their explosive offense has made them the class of the 2025 FCBL summer slate. The Bravehearts have plated 25 runs over their last three contests, thanks in large part to Jackson Marshall’s power. Marshall, batting .310 with seven homers and 28 RBIs, leads the league in long balls, and Worcester leads all teams with 25 homers, far ahead of the Lake Monsters’ 13. His ability to clear the fences has been a game-changer for the Bravehearts.
Tonight at 6:30 PM, Worcester returns home to host the Sea Unicorns, aiming to build on a comfortable four-game cushion over second-place Vermont. With their offense in full gear and pitching that can lock down opponents, the Bravehearts look poised to keep cruising toward the FCBL postseason.
