Whitinsville Christian Indoor Wins Gold Once Again

Whitinsville Christian enjoyed another excellent indoor track and field season, highlighted by standout performances from Emily Flagg and a strong showing across multiple events. The Crusaders continued to build on their recent success and turned in results that reflected both depth and top-end talent.

Emily Flagg led the charge once more, winning the girls two mile at the 2026 MIAA D4 Indoor Track and Field Championships with a time of 10:38.95. Saint Mary’s Kelsey Kwiatek was the nearest challenger at 11:29.24, while Whitinsville’s Inez Smith placed seventh in 11:58.77. Abby Flagg also had a strong championship meet, finishing second in the mile with a time of 4:55.18, just 1.65 seconds behind first place. The Crusaders also earned second in the girls 4×800 relay with a 10:10.82, as Abby and Emily Flagg, Inez Smith, and Josephina Dyke combined for the runner-up finish.

Whitinsville Christian also placed fifth overall as a team, another sign of how productive the winter was. Emily Flagg added more hardware at the Meet of Champions, winning the two-mile again with an even better time of 10:36.92. With nationals ahead and outdoor track and cross country approaching, the Crusaders have plenty to look forward to.
