Uxbridge’s Kendall Gilmore Dominates State Track Championships

The Uxbridge girls’ track and field team continues to make headlines thanks to standout Kendall Gilmore, who delivered an exceptional all-around performance at the MIAA Division 6 State Championships. Gilmore came away with three top-three finishes and a state title, making her one of the event’s most impressive athletes. She placed second in the 200M dash with a time of 25.68 seconds, trailing only Randolph’s Jayda Adora Bleus. Gilmore followed that up by claiming gold in the 400M with a winning time of 57.78 seconds. Her medal count grew with a third-place finish in the Long Jump, leaping 17 feet, 4 inches to earn bronze. Adding to Uxbridge’s team success, Milla Mace placed sixth in the discus, contributing valuable points to the Spartans’ overall finish. Gilmore later competed in the MIAA Meet of Champions, finishing sixth in the 400M against elite competition. With Gilmore’s leadership and continued excellence, the Spartans have capped another successful season. Her versatility and competitiveness make her one of the premier athletes in the state, and she’s helped set a high standard for the program’s future.
