The Uxbridge Spartans had a season for the record books, tying their program’s win record with 18 victories. The girls were competitive and dominant throughout the year, highlighted by a historic Clark Tournament victory over the Hopedale Blue Raiders. Riding that momentum, the Spartans rolled into the playoffs with a blowout win over Excel Academy in the first round, showcasing their dynamism as a squad.

The momentum continued with a tightly contested 45-39 win against Hampshire Regional. Although their playoff run ended when they were eliminated by Cathedral—the eventual state champion and #1 seed—the Spartans fought hard, making it the closest game against Cathedral. This performance underscores both Uxbridge’s talent and Cathedral’s overall dominance.

Overall, the Spartans achieved a historic season by tying the record for most wins in program history and capturing their first Clark Tournament banner. Their accomplishments this season lay a strong foundation, and they will undoubtedly look to build on this momentum next year.
