The Uxbridge Spartans girls’ soccer team now knows its 2025–2026 lineup as they join the Central Massachusetts Athletic Conference D. After a challenging 0–14–1 campaign last fall, the Spartans will face conference foes Quaboag, AMSA, Doherty, and Oxford, each boasting established programs.

Despite last year’s winless record, Uxbridge showed grit, earning a late‑season tie and improving competitiveness as underclassmen gained experience. With the senior class graduated, returning players form a solid core intent on forging a new culture. Three seasons ago, the Spartans celebrated a winning record; this fall, they aim to take incremental steps back toward that success.

The season opener pits Uxbridge against the Blackstone‑Millville Regional Chargers (5–13–1), a matchup that offers an early barometer for where the Spartans stand. Following that, Uxbridge travels to face Leicester and Millis, then returns home for a pivotal contest against local rival Hopedale. While a playoff berth may be ambitious in a restructured conference, the Spartans’ schedule features winnable games balanced with high‑level tests.

Expect each match to bring incremental improvements, tactical adjustments, stronger defensive organization, and growing cohesion in attack. Uxbridge’s developing player leadership will be essential as the Spartans work toward reestablishing a winning mindset and sustainable program for years to come.
