Uxbridge’s field hockey program continued its remarkable season with a 9-3 victory over King Philip, extending the Spartans’ unbeaten run in their move up to D3. Uxbridge sits atop D3 as the No. 1 seed and has compiled a staggering 16-0 ledger this year. The Spartans have combined elite scoring with reliable defense all season, and Saturday’s result showcased both facets.

Aubrey Bouchard led the attack with five goals, while Ava Rosborough, Addie Blood, Julianna Casucci, and Aubrey Beland also found the net. Uxbridge’s depth and finishing touch allowed them to put away a strong King Philip squad that entered the contest at 13-4. This game was a statement for the Spartans: even against high-quality opponents, their offensive rotation and continued pressure produce big scores.

Uxbridge has been dominant in D3, accumulating numerous shutouts through the season and permitting more than one goal only once. Their next challenge is a meeting with Dover-Sherborn, a team riding an eight-game winning streak. If the Spartans maintain their current pace, scoring efficiently and keeping opponents under pressure, they’ll be the benchmark for the division and a legitimate contender at every level.
