Uxbridge field hockey continued its remarkable run with a dominant 6-0 victory over the Dover-Sherborn Raiders. The Spartans have been a fixture in the region for years, and after four straight D4 championships, they have carried that pedigree into a dominant D3 campaign this season.

Uxbridge sits at 17-0 with 12 shutouts and has avoided any close calls; its narrowest margin of victory this season was a 3-0 shutout over Andover. Against Dover-Sherborn, the Spartans simply overwhelmed their opposition: Julianna Casucci and Ava Rosborough each scored twice, while Amelia Blood and Kendall Gilmore added one goal apiece in the rout.

Dover-Sherborn arrived with strong credentials, holding the No. 3 seed in D3 field hockey and owning just a single loss on the season, a 1-0 setback to Monomoy Regional. Even so, the Raiders were unable to derail Uxbridge’s march this week, as the Spartans controlled the match from start to finish.

Looking ahead, Uxbridge will face Hopedale this Sunday at 6:30 PM. Hopedale has compiled a 10-4 record this season and represents a solid opponent, but the Spartans will enter as significant favorites after another emphatic victory.
