The Milford Legion Baseball team posted a truly historic regular season, finishing a perfect 20–0 while outscoring opponents 240–39. Their offense was unstoppable, notching double-digit runs in 15 of 20 games and averaging 12 runs per outing, while the pitching staff held foes to under 2 runs per game. That run differential, 201 more runs scored than allowed, surpassed second-place Shrewsbury by 100 runs offensively and 30 runs defensively.

Milford’s roster was dotted with standout performers. Nipmuc stars Gavin Metcalf and Josh Giancola earned Legion All‑Star nods, while Nick Pedroli delivered clutch extra‑base hits throughout the year. Ace Anthony Lapierre anchored the rotation with multiple complete games and double‑digit strikeout performances. Beyond the stars, role players stepped up in big moments, showcasing the depth that made Milford nearly untouchable.

With the district finishing its regular season, Milford awaits its playoff seed and first opponent, at 7 PM this Saturday. The double‑elimination format gives even a dominant team room for error, but Milford will enter the bracket as the clear favorite. Their flawless record, run differential, and roster talent set the stage for a deep postseason run and a potential state‑tournament berth.
